Specific Admission Requirements
Students eager to register the program should accomplish the exams/ completed the processes determined by Student Selection and Placement Center (OSYM) within the framework of academicand legal legislations of the university. Students who have started their education in equivalent programs at home or abroad can apply for lateral transfer. The acceptances of students are evaluated before the term begins after examining each student’s conditions and with taking their degrees into consideration. The detailed information about acceptance to the university is available in the institution catalogue. Those students coming from abroad withstudent exchance programs which are approved and the limits of which are determined by the university can register for the courses given in English in the program. İf the students have the Turkish language proficiency, they can register to any lesson stated in the course plan.

The students graduating this department can work in private business lines related to production, quality, management and marketing of foods and in public institutions as provincial directorate of agriculture, quality controll branch offices, control laboratorys of Ministry of Agriculture.

The students succesfully accomplished the program can apply to the Master or Doctorate degrees at this field or other fields which accept students from the department of Food Technology

Graduation Requirements
To graduate from this program, there isn’t any specific term and exam or proficiency exam period which should be done at the end of the academic year or after the comletion of the program. İn addition to this, at the end of each semester there are final exams which are generally done immediatelly after the closure of the term and which generally last for two weeks. Moreover, to be graduated the students should have succesfully done a practical training of forty weekdays in the industry. Lastly students should prepare a graduation thesis at the end of the 8th term and they are expected to do an oral presentation of he thesis.
